Why Do Applications Get Rejected?
Every year, thousands of eligible candidates have their online applications rejected by commissions like SSC, UPSC, and State PSCs due to minor technical errors during online form submission.
5-Point Verification Checklist Before Submission
1. Photograph Specifications
- Ensure the photo is recent (taken within the last 3 months) with a plain white or light-colored background.
- Both ears must be clearly visible. Do not wear caps, dark glasses, or masks.
- Adhere strictly to specified file dimensions (e.g. 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm, 20 KB to 50 KB in JPG/JPEG format).
2. Signature Clarity
- Sign on a clean white paper using a black or dark blue ink pen.
- Do NOT sign in ALL CAPITAL LETTERS unless explicitly requested. Capital signatures are routinely rejected.
- Crop tight around the signature to prevent blank margins.
3. Name & Date of Birth Discrepancies
Your Name, Father's Name, Mother's Name, and Date of Birth MUST match letter-by-letter with your 10th Class (Matriculation) Certificate. Avoid adding or omitting middle names.
4. Category & Community Certificate Validity
EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, and PwBD certificates must be issued on or before the crucial date specified in the official notification by competent authorities.
5. Transaction Confirmation & Printout
Never assume an application is submitted until you generate the final Registration Confirmation Slip / Application Summary printout. Always save a digital PDF backup.
